For the second TV in the Kennesaw, GA home, the client wanted a 55-inch screen mounted in the loft playroom above low storage furniture. A new outlet was created behind the TV so the setup stays clean, safe, and free of dangling cords in a room used by children.
Installation Details
The 55-inch TV was mounted on a low-profile fixed bracket centered on the loft drywall wall above the storage cubbies. The mounting height was set to clear the furniture while keeping the screen comfortable for viewing from the carpeted play area. A recessed outlet was added behind the TV so power is hidden within the mount footprint and the wall below remains clear.
Professional Techniques Used
The wall was scanned to confirm framing and safe outlet placement before the bracket and electrical box were marked. The fixed mount was lag-bolted into wood studs for a stable, tamper-resistant connection. After the outlet was installed behind the panel, the TV was hung, leveled, and checked for a tight, flush profile above the loft storage unit.
