A Canton, GA homeowner wanted a 65-inch Samsung Frame TV mounted above the living room stone fireplace with a matching soundbar below it. The goal was an art-style fireplace focal point with the One Connect cable dropped through the wall so the electronics and wiring stayed hidden from view.
Installation Details
The Samsung Frame TV was mounted above the stone fireplace on the finished drywall chase, centered between the built-in shelves and aligned to the mantel below. A slim soundbar was mounted directly under the Frame TV with even spacing to preserve the gallery-style look. The One Connect cable was dropped through the wall cavity to route the signal connection out of sight while keeping the TV face clean and flush above the fireplace.
Professional Techniques Used
The fireplace chase was scanned for framing, fire blocking, and a safe wire path before the Frame TV bracket, soundbar bracket, and cable drop locations were marked. The Frame TV mount was secured into structural backing behind the drywall, then leveled carefully so the white bezel sat square with the crown molding and built-ins. The One Connect wire was fished through the wall cavity using low-voltage pass-through plates, and the soundbar was independently leveled beneath the TV.
