65-Inch Full Motion TV Mount with New Outlet in Canton, GA Living Room

A Canton, GA homeowner asked us to mount their 65-inch flat-screen TV in the main living room above an existing media console. They wanted a full motion mount so the screen could be angled toward both the sectional and the adjoining kitchen, plus a brand-new electrical outlet installed behind the TV for a completely cord-free wall. The wiring path required drilling cleanly through a wood stud to route power from the nearest circuit into the new outlet box behind the panel.

The 65-inch TV was installed on a heavy-duty full motion articulating bracket, anchored into two wood studs in the living room drywall. For the new outlet, we drilled a code-compliant pass-through hole in the wood stud blocking the wire path, then fished 14/2 Romex through the bored stud into the new recessed outlet box behind the TV. All drilling was done within National Electrical Code stud-bore limits to preserve structural integrity, and the new outlet was wired into the existing wall circuit with proper grounding.
