65-Inch TV Tilt Mounted on a Bedroom Wall in Atlanta, GA
An Atlanta, GA homeowner wanted a 65-inch LG smart TV mounted on the main bedroom wall opposite the bed. Because the screen sits above dresser height and the room takes strong daylight from the side window, a low-profile tilting mount was the right call so the picture can be angled down and away from glare.
The 65-inch panel was centered on the bedroom drywall wall and set at a height that clears the furniture line while remaining comfortable to watch while lying in bed. A slim tilt bracket holds the TV close to the wall for a clean profile but allows the screen to be angled downward, which cancels the reflection from the side window and keeps contrast strong during the day. Power and source cabling were dropped straight down the wall bay and terminated at the existing receptacle below so nothing hangs across the wall face.
Studs were located and confirmed across the bedroom wall, and the tilt bracket was lag-bolted into structural framing rather than drywall anchors. Mount height was set against the reclined sightline from the bed instead of a generic center-height rule, then the wall plate was laser-leveled and squared to the ceiling line. Cable slack was measured for the full tilt range so nothing binds when the screen is angled, and all runs were dressed tight down the bay. The finished assembly was load-tested through its complete tilt travel before handoff.
The Atlanta bedroom now has a 65-inch screen sitting flat and level on the wall with no visible cords and no glare from the window, angled exactly for viewing from the bed. The install is stud-anchored, the wall was left clean with no patching needed, and the work is backed by our 5-year workmanship warranty.
