75-Inch TV on a Full Motion Mount in a Roswell, GA Basement
A Roswell, GA homeowner finishing out their basement media room wanted a 75-inch TV mounted above a low walnut credenza on a full motion articulating arm, so the screen can be pulled out and angled toward either the sectional or the seating at the far end of the room.
The 75-inch panel was centered over the credenza on the basement drywall wall and set at a height that keeps the bottom of the screen just above the console top for comfortable seated viewing. A heavy-duty full motion mount was used so the TV can extend off the wall, swivel, and tilt — important in a long basement room where seating is spread out and the ceiling soffit creates directional light. The soundbar sits on the credenza directly beneath the screen, and all HDMI and power runs were dressed down behind the console so nothing is visible from the seating area.
Studs were located and verified across the basement wall, and the articulating mount was lag-bolted into two structural studs — mandatory for a 75-inch panel on an extending arm, where leverage multiplies the load at full extension. The wall plate was laser-leveled and squared against the ceiling soffit line so the screen sits true in the room. Cable slack was calculated and dressed along the arm so nothing binds or pulls through the full range of extension and swivel, then routed behind the credenza. The mount was cycled through its complete motion range and load-tested at full extension before handoff.
The Roswell basement media room now has a 75-inch screen that can be pushed flush to the wall for a clean look or pulled out and angled toward any seat in the room. There are no visible wires above the credenza, the soundbar sits perfectly centered beneath the panel, and the whole installation is stud-anchored and backed by our 5-year workmanship warranty.
