75-Inch Tilt TV Mount With Outlet in Woodstock Bedroom
A Woodstock, GA homeowner wanted a 75-inch TV mounted in the bedroom on a drywall wall with a tilt bracket and a new outlet created behind the display. The room layout called for a higher placement opposite the bed while keeping the carpeted bedroom wall free of loose cords.
The 75-inch TV was mounted on a heavy-duty tilt bracket centered on the bedroom drywall wall between the doorway and the adjacent fireplace area. A recessed outlet was created behind the TV within the mount footprint so the power cord stays hidden once the panel is hung. The tilt angle was adjusted downward for comfortable bed viewing and to reduce glare from the ceiling light and windows.
The wall was scanned for studs, existing wiring, and clear cavity space before the bracket and outlet locations were marked. Structural lag bolts secured the tilt mount into framing behind the drywall, and the recessed outlet was positioned behind the screen where it remains accessible but concealed. The TV was hung, leveled, locked into the bracket, and checked from the bed-height viewing position.
The Woodstock bedroom now has a large 75-inch TV mounted securely with no visible power cord dropping down the wall. The tilt bracket improves the viewing angle from bed, the behind-TV outlet keeps the install clean, and the stud-anchored mount provides long-term stability for the oversized screen.
