Project Summary

Installation Details
The 98-inch TV was installed on a heavy-duty large-format fixed bracket rated well above the panel's weight, anchored into multiple wood studs behind the drywall. Our two-technician team used a deep-scan stud finder to map every stud across the 8-foot mounting span, then secured a continuous steel wall plate across four studs to distribute the load. The TV was lifted onto the bracket together — one technician on each side — and seated into the locking pins simultaneously. Final screen height was set to 50 inches from floor to center, the ideal viewing height for couch-level seating in a basement theater room.

Four wood studs were mapped behind the drywall and the large-format bracket was through-bolted with grade-8 lag bolts torqued to spec for a panel of this weight class.
