Installation Details
The 98-inch TV was mounted on the drywall great room wall using a heavy-duty tilt bracket rated for the screen's substantial weight, anchored across multiple wall studs for maximum security. A new recessed outlet was installed directly behind the TV at the mounting position to provide dedicated power with the plug fully hidden. A separate in-wall HDMI pathway was created from behind the TV down to a low-voltage wall plate at baseboard level, allowing source devices to connect through the wall with no visible cabling on the impressive two-story feature wall.
Professional Techniques Used
Stud detection mapped multiple solid studs across the mount footprint to safely support the 98-inch TV's weight on the tilt bracket. The bracket was leveled with a torpedo level and through-bolted with heavy-duty lag bolts into multiple studs.
