55-Inch Bedroom TV Mount with Soundbar in Canton, GA

A Canton, GA homeowner wanted a 55-inch TV mounted on the open bedroom wall across from the bed, with the soundbar hung directly underneath instead of sitting on a dresser. The wall had no furniture in front of it, so every cable had to disappear into the wall rather than drop down to the existing outlets near the baseboard.

The 55-inch panel was set on a tilt mount at bed-viewing height and angled slightly downward so the picture faces the pillows instead of the ceiling. The soundbar was hung on its own bracket immediately below the screen, centered to the TV and spaced so the panel can tilt through its full range without touching the bar. Power and HDMI were routed through the wall cavity from behind the TV down to the receptacles at the baseboard, so the wall reads completely clean from the doorway.

The wall was scanned for wiring and framing before drilling, and the bracket was lag-bolted into stud body rather than anchored in drywall. Because the mount sits above existing outlets, we used a code-compliant in-wall power kit so line voltage is never run loose inside the cavity, and the low-voltage HDMI was fished separately to avoid interference. The plate was laser-leveled to the ceiling line, the soundbar bracket was leveled off the TV's bottom edge so the gap reads even across the width, and both were load-tested before the smart TV was connected to WiFi and set up.

The Canton bedroom now has a 55-inch TV at the right angle for watching from bed with the soundbar mounted neatly below it and not a single cord showing on the wall. The dresser space stays free, the tilt keeps glare off the screen, and the installation is backed by our 5-year workmanship warranty.
