65-Inch TV Mounted on Drywall in Riverdale, GA
A Riverdale, GA homeowner wanted a 65-inch TV mounted with full articulation and completely hidden wiring. The full motion mount allows the screen to swivel toward different areas of the living room, while in-wall wire concealment ensures a clean presentation from every angle—even when the arm is fully extended.
The full motion mount was secured to two drywall-backed wood studs, positioning the 65-inch TV at 44 inches from floor to screen center. The articulating arm provides 20 inches of extension and a wide swivel range. In-wall wire concealment routes all cables—HDMI, power, and streaming device connections—through the wall cavity with recessed plates at both ends.
Structural lag screws were anchored into two adjacent studs. A code-compliant in-wall power bridge was installed to route power safely. Low-voltage cable plates were recessed at the TV location and baseboard. All cables were fished through using flexible fish tape. The full motion arm was tested at full extension to confirm zero sag or drift.
The Riverdale living room now features a 65-inch screen that moves freely on its articulating arm without any trailing cables. The concealed wiring maintains a showroom-quality look whether the TV is flat against the wall or extended for a better angle. The professional wire concealment eliminates visual clutter.
