75-Inch TV Mounted on Concrete Wall in Doraville, GA
A Doraville, GA homeowner wanted a 75-inch TV mounted on a poured concrete wall in their modern loft-style living space. The full motion mount was selected for its flexibility, and a power outlet was installed behind the TV. Concrete wall mounting requires specialized masonry hardware and precision drilling techniques.
The full motion articulating arm was secured to the concrete wall using heavy-duty wedge anchors designed for poured concrete. The TV was positioned at 48 inches from floor to screen center. The arm extends 24 inches and swivels 180 degrees for viewing from multiple areas of the open loft. A recessed power outlet was surface-mounted with conduit on the concrete wall.
A rotary hammer drill with SDS-plus concrete bits bored through the poured concrete. Heavy-duty wedge anchors were inserted and torqued well beyond the combined weight requirement. The full motion arm was load-tested at full extension before the TV was attached. Electrical conduit was surface-mounted along the concrete wall for the power outlet, painted to match the wall color.
The Doraville loft now features a 75-inch display on the concrete wall that can swing out and angle toward any seating area. The industrial-strength concrete anchoring provides unmatched stability, and the power outlet keeps the installation clean. The full motion capability is perfect for the open loft layout.
