Samsung's No-Gap mount was adapted for the masonry surface, and an in-wall concealment box with a dedicated outlet was installed to hide the One Connect box behind the adjacent interior wall. The covered patio protects the TV from direct weather exposure.
Installation Details
The No-Gap mount was secured to the patio's brick wall using stainless steel masonry anchors to maintain the flush profile on the rigid surface. The 65-inch Frame TV was positioned at 50 inches from the patio floor to screen center, serving the outdoor dining table and lounge seating. The One Connect box was housed in an in-wall media box installed on the adjacent interior wall, with the transparent cable routed through a drilled passthrough in the brick. A dedicated weatherproof outlet inside the concealment box powers the One Connect unit.
Professional Techniques Used
A hammer drill with carbide masonry bits was used to bore into the brick for both the mount anchors and the cable passthrough. Stainless steel concrete anchors were inserted and torqued to specification. The in-wall concealment box was installed on the interior side of the brick wall using a low-voltage old-work bracket.
